Being an entrepreneur, it’s a constant challenge to adapt to market demands. I’ve heard it called “tacking,” like what sailboats do when they’re sailing into the wind. We have to zig-zag back and forth until we get to where we’re going.
That’s the process I’ve been going through for the past year. I wrote my book, taught workshops, created an amazing amount of content, consulted, coached, commiserated, etc. Each step I took was a tack to get to where I am right now.
In the past two weeks, I caught the trade wind and I’m well on my way to a highly focused service offering. Many of you have already taken me up on my offer to review your website for $20.
That’s just the first step…a way for me to prove the business model before I spend a lot of my time and money building a new business. So far, it looks like people are very interested in building their lists and getting more paying customers from their websites.
Now, I’m on to the next step! Two people have agreed to let me give their homepages a facelift to improve their conversions, and as a thank you for being early adopters, I’m giving them great deals in exchange for testimonials once they’re done.
